This concept is developed for marketing students and focusses on outdoor advertising, a phenomenon that is of course very apparent in Hong Kong. Students are triggered to research a very busy area of Hong Kong and analyze the outdoor advertising strategies of companies. They capture their brands with photos, but also interview passers-by to ask about the impact of the advertising on them. Lastly, they also research how the outdoor advertising relates to the entire media-mix for the brand, looking at print, web, etc. 7scenes is very much used as a field research tool, that gives the students many degrees of freedom to explore and discover the targeted areas.
